Solo performance for electronics and prepared electric bass, Imatrie plays with the notion of control of the individual over his body and his environment of action. It plunges the listener into a permanent confusion over what comes from the will of the musician or the arbitrariness of the machine.
The sound processing device is designed both in terms of back-line and digital programming (soft & hardware) to adapt to different technical conditions. Depending on the equipment of the reception venue, it can be used with different diffusion systems, from a simple bass amplifier to a speakers orchestra.

Performance solo pour électronique et basse électrique préparée, Imatrie joue avec la notion de contrôle de l’indicvidu-e sur son corps et son milieu d’action. Elle plonge l’auditeur-ice dans un trouble permanent sur ce qui procède de la volonté du musicien ou de l’arbitraire de la machine.
Le dispositif de traitement sonore est conçu tant en termes de back-line que de programmation numérique (soft & hardware) pour s’adapter à différentes conditions techniques. En fonction de l’équipement du lieu d’accueil, il peut épouser différents systèmes de diffusion, du simple ampli basse à l’orchestre d’enceintes.
